Snug Harbor's Reservation and Cancellation Policy *No extra visitors or guests allowed except by pre-arrangement and pre-payment, and subject to the site or Snuggle Inn Occupancy limits For Snuggle Inns: *25% of full rental, or first night, which ever is greater, is required to book reservations. This fee is NON-REFUNDABLE. Balance of amount due must be paid within 21 days of scheduled arrival. For advance reservations, we send out a confirmation form. Please review reservation form carefully to make sure it complies with your requests, and notify us immediately if there is any mistake. 75% of fully-paid reservation is refundable only if Snug Harbor is notified in writing of cancellation at least 21 days prior to scheduled arrival date, and we are able to rent out the unit for the days you had booked. For RV and Tent sites: 100% of site reservation fees is required to book reservations. For advance reservations, we send out a confirmation form, listing the site # and # of people you've specified. Please review reservation form carefully to make sure it complies with your requests, and notify us immediately if there is any mistake. 50% or first night fee, which ever is more, will be retained as a cancellation fee if Snug Harbor is notified in writing of cancellation at least 21 days prior to scheduled arrival date. The balance will be refunded in the form original payment was made. For cancellations within 21 days of scheduled arrival date, there is no refund. For Guest Docks: Please call the office. Let staff know if you are visiting a camper, or if you are touring the delta on your boat. Use of guest dock space is subject to availability. The following terms apply to all reservations: *Once reservation details have been confirmed, booked, and a confirmation form has been mailed out, changes to reservation, such as # of people expected, adding boats or vehicle, etc. will incur a $10 processing charge. Adding to days of stay processed at no charge. Change of week end or week stay dates is considered a cancellation, and cancellation fees apply. *Last minute reservations (within 30 days of arrival) must be fully prepaid and no refunds will be available. (This is because we will be working to have the Snuggle Inn ready for you, and even if you don't come, we've expended the energy and cost to be ready for your stay.) Cancellation Notes: Why do we have this cancellation policy?...We've created this policy to make sure those calling for reservations are serious about visiting us. We're a small private resort with very special waterfront accommodations that are in high demand, particularly summer season. We found that if there was no cancellation fee, some visitors booked many days and week ends a year in advance, and did not call to cancel if they weren't coming, so others who were told "no" could have been here. State parks, concerts, live theater and some airline reservations allow NO cancellations and NO refunds, so we feel this policy gives our patrons some flexibility while assuring us the reservations made will most likely be kept. Why do we charge if you have guests for just a day or few hours? ... Our maintenance costs are directly related to the number of persons who use our facility. We have a water filtration system, septic systems, bathrooms, garbage collection fees and utilities that increase directly proportional to use by people. Since your guests will be using the facilities, their costs need to be covered. Would you go to the movies and pay for 4 tickets and expect to bring in 8 people on the 4 tickets? Most likely not. Same concept applies here, even for kids. If you haven't told us you expect guests, and cover the costs for those guests, we must assume they weren't expected, and we will apply standard park policy to unscheduled or uninvited guests. Anyone visiting the resort for more than 30 minutes will be asked to leave the facility and/or the person who rented the RV site, guest dock or Snuggle Inn will be charged the posted rates in the office.
