Our newest
addition to the resort are 6 "cape cod" style Park Model RV's that are
rented out to our visitors.
Fishing is a favorite pastime on the Delta. Here, a
61 pound sturgeon was caught off Steamboat Slough, where Snug Harbor
is. Snug Harbor has a full service marina on Snug Cove, so many of our
patrons prefer to keep their boats in covered berths.
Water ski, boating and Personal Watercraft (Jet Skis and Wave Runners)
are also popular pursuits in the Delta. Here, Steve from Manhattan
Beach catches a sunset run on Steamboat Slough while his twin sons canoe
with a cousin, and Sean of Pleasanton demonstrates his Wakeboard style.
The new "Snuggle Inns" rental cabins face the sandy beach,
while others have a beach of their own!

There's quaint and authentic Delta river towns to visit nearby Snug
Harbor.
Pictured to the right is downtown Isleton. Isleton hosts the
annual Delta
Crawdad Festival, always on Father's Day week end. Between
100,000
and 200,000 people attend this 3-day event each year. Its
the closest to "Cajun" you
can find in California...guaranteed!
Did you know there are Ferry's in California run by CalTrans?
These ferrys run 24 hours a day, except for lunch & dinner breaks.
And its FREE! Yes, there still is such a thing as a "free ride".
Ryer Island, where Snug Harbor is, is served by two ferrys, The one
outside Rio Vista called the "Real McCoy" and the "J-Mac" on Steamboat
Slough. And if you don't want to ride a ferry, you can always use
the bridge onto Ryer at the north side of the island.
