**News 2008**  Snug Harbor Resort was listed as  "Best for Fishing" and "Best for Waterskiing" in the just-published book Northern California Camping by Tom Stienstra!    Portions of the movie "Has Been" was filmed at Snug Harbor in March 2008 (in one of our junk piles made to look like an old Boy Scout camp in Montana, they say) and our Spring newsletter is being mailed out.  We moved around some of our Snuggle Inns to new sites, we're setting up a new really nice office and our entrance area will be upgraded over the next few months.  To read the latest news, click here.

Snug Harbor offers the following unique amenities on an island setting in the beautiful Historic Region of the California Delta:

*Waterfront rental cabins we call "Snuggle Inns" that make the perfect get-away setting for family reunions, small business retreats and even small weddings!  2007 update:  several brand new very nice manufactured homes have been installed waterfront looking onto Steamboat Slough, by the sandy swim beach.
*Waterfront leased lots for Park Model Vacation Home or regular RV use    *Several sites available

*Waterfront & water view RV sites with water & electric hook-ups-available for stays of 2 nights or longer
*Covered berth marina to 50' for all types of vessels

*Open berths and side ties to 60' for powerboats, sailboats and houseboats                                    


Summer office hours: Daily 9:00 to 5:00, with extended hours on Friday if needed.  Persons with reservations who will be arriving after the office is closed will be provided a gate access code with the reservation confirmation.  Note that office-store only carries limited amounts of Ice, sodas, hats and emergency supplies.  Gas pumped for resort guests only.  Shop for your foods, bait and other needs before arriving at the resort, or plan a 10 minute ride to nearby Rio Vista for your groceries and other needs. 
 

For reservations requests, please use the online reservations system, as we receive the request automatically hourly into the office computer.  Reservations are required for overnight stays, and we do not offer "day use" unless you are scheduled to visit a leaseholder or someone who already has a reservation here.  Boat launch use is for our customers only.
