1.
VISITORS:
When CONFIRMING reservations, You agree to state the total number of people who will be coming
on site with you or to visit you. "People" means any adults
and children of any age. If you also expect guests to
boat-in or come by, these persons need reservations as well. Ask
them to contact us separately or include them in your reservation request.
You may be asked to list the names of the persons included in your
reservation prior to arrival, or when checking in. You agree that no
extra visitors or guests will be allowed, except by pre-arrangement and
pre-payment, and subject to the RV site or Snuggle Inn Occupancy limits as
posted on our web site.
2.
PETS:
Pets are allowed in the RV and a few select Snuggle Inns.,
for an extra fee. You agree you will keep your pets on lease at all
times, except when with your pet in your boat or in the water, and you
agree to not leave your pet unattended at your site. If you have
reserved a Snuggle Inn that does not allow pets, you agree
you will not bring a pet on site. In this case, keeping a pet on the
porch or in your car is a violation. When making a reservation using the
online system, it may not show anything available if you put a number
other than "0" in the pet box. We suggest you note in the comments
section about the pets instead.
3.
SMOKING & DRUGS PROHIBITED AT SNUG HARBOR:
No smoking allowed in any Snuggle Inn. Please respect
the rights of others to be in a smoke-free environment. No illegal
drugs or substances allowed on site at any time. We reserve the
right to have anyone arrested or removed off site who is found to have illegal substances on
site. We are a family-oriented park, and this is no place for
illegal substances! Please respect the rights of others to be in a
drug-free environment.
4.
SNUGGLE INN RESERVATIONS:
*25% of full rental, or
first night, which ever is greater, is required to book reservations.
This fee is NON-REFUNDABLE. Balance of amount due must be
paid within 21 days of scheduled arrival. If you are paying by
credit card, you authorize us to charge the balance of the amount due 21
days prior to arrival unless you've sent a check for the balance due.

to September 15 annually. Full Cancellation
details
5. RV SITE RESERVATIONS: for all RV site reservations 100% of
site reservation fees is required to book it. No refunds allowed.
See Full Cancellation details. If you are not sure of the dates you want to visit us, we suggest you
wait until closer to the time you want to visit and then make the booking.
We almost always have some space available during non-prime time dates,
so come on in! But during Prime Time you should reserve well in
advance.
6. Exceptions to Snuggle Inn cancellation policy:
see Full Cancellation details. If you
need to make a change of dates, we must receive the request in writing
21 days prior to arrival.
7. OVERNIGHT
GUEST DOCKS: For overnight on-board guest docks, please call the office in
advance to confirm availability. While you can use the online
reservation system for on-board overnight guest dock reservations, its
best to confirm your vessel needs (power, draft, length) which the online
system is not capable of doing.
8. ALL
RESERVATIONS: For advance reservations, we send out a confirmation
form by email or snail mail. Please review reservation form
carefully to make sure it complies with your dates, sites, cabins and # of
people included. Please notify us immediately if there is any
mistake. Once reservation details have been confirmed, booked, and
a confirmation form has been mailed out, changes to reservation, such as #
of people expected, adding boats or vehicles, etc. may incur
a $15 processing charge, to help defray the extra staff costs associated
with accommodating your change requests. Adding to days of stay
processed at no charge. We reserve the option to decline to add
extra persons, vehicles or boats to any reservation.
9.
Extra info: When filling
in the online reservation form, you will be able to specify in the forms
your RV type and size, to verify that it fits the site you're reserving.
You also need to state in the comments section if you plan to bring any
pets.
10.
Initial
Charges: We usually add the extra charges that may apply when you
arrive. This would include boat launch, dock use, extra vehicles, extra dock
space, pets, etc. Please remember that the online system only
calculates the basic site or unit costs and does not account for the
extras as noted above.
11.
Dock space charges: Use of dock space for PWC or ski boats or staying onboard will be at
additional charge. However, if you only plan to fish off the
docks, there are designated fishing dock areas for your use that will
be nearby, but not in front of the site you are renting, most likely.
No extra charge for fishing dock use. Make SURE to note on the reservation form if you want dock space to tie
off a ski boat or PWC, or you will not be assigned any space.
Note that by using the
online reservation system, you are REQUESTING a reservation. You
must wait for us to respond and confirm your request.

A few Frequently Asked Questions:
Why do we have this no-refunds
policy for the RV sites?...We've
created this policy to make sure those calling for reservations are
serious about visiting us. We're a small private resort with very
special waterfront accommodations that are in high demand, particularly
summer season. We found that if there was no cancellation fee, some
visitors booked many days and week ends a year in advance, and did not
call to cancel if they weren't coming, so others who were told "no" could
have been here, and the park lost revenue. In addition, the
processing costs of making and changing reservations has greatly
increased, and most reservations are done by credit card. We are
charged by our banker for processing the original charge and again if
there is a refund...so we definitely loose funds each time someone changes
their mind. We had to make a choice between increasing our rates to
cover the costs of processing, or keeping the same rates and changing the
policy to allow for no refunds, to avoid the extra processing costs.

Why do we
charge if you have guests for just a day or few hours?
... Our maintenance costs are directly related to the number of
persons who use our facility. We have a water filtration system,
septic systems, bathrooms, garbage collection fees and utilities that
increase directly proportional to use by people. Since your guests
will be using the facilities, their costs need to be covered.
Would you go to the movies and pay for 4 tickets and expect to bring in 8
people on the 4 tickets? Most likely not. Same concept applies
here, even for kids.
If you haven't told us you expect guests, and cover the costs for those
guests, we must assume they weren't expected, and we will apply standard
park policy to unscheduled or uninvited guests. Anyone visiting the
resort for more than 30 minutes will be asked to leave the facility and/or
the person who rented the RV site, guest dock or Snuggle Inn will be
charged the posted rates in the office.
Why do we have 2 or
3-day minimum stay for advance reservations? ...
In order to reduce extra traffic along Snug Harbor Drive
and reduce the wear & tear associated with people coming & going at the
resort, we encourage our patrons to come here for longer vacation
periods rather than just week ends. We have patrons that come from
San Diego, Oregon, Arizona, Nevada, as well as those from Central Valley
and Central Coast areas of California. We want to give everyone a chance
to plan the longer stays at our prime waterfront sites and cabins.
In April of each year, we remove the 4-day reservation minimums so that
people can make reservations for just week end stays. If you want
just a 2-day reservation, please check the availability starting in April.
